Our puppy philosophy

We believe in highly dense nutrition for momma and babbies for their whole life. With a focus on raw and organic when possible, we embrace homemade recipes, kibble mixed or any hybrid custom diet that includes anything seasonal and fresh. Our companions live on our farm with us, making the most of all nutritional opportunities! We have beef, goat and chicken meat animals plus organic veggie ingredients in our toppers or sometimes exclusive raw for our prize family farm companions. Primal nourishment and functional movement, we observe and serve their instincts to herd, cuddle, protect and relax.

Our young children and farm animals do their job, desensitizing the puppies to regular chaotic life. We expose the puppies to large varieties of stimulation, keeping their confidence high and anxiety low for their future lives.

Before the puppies go home, they’ll be temperament tested to assure a successful placement with their new family. We perform Volhard testing at five and seven weeks. They’ll also have been exposed to sleeping in their crate and walking with a collar and leash. We work hard at making their exposures very positive and calm.

They’ll also have three rounds of dewormer and their first Distemper at the vet with a full health clearance before you pick them up. We don’t usually provide more shots than that in case their immune systems are still fueled by their mother’s milk. If you’re taking home a puppy a little older than that for various reasons, they’ll have an additional vet visit with a few more vaccinations.
